The Haisten Group, Inc. has been providing Chattanooga and the surrounding area
with excellence in real estate appraisal for over twenty-five years. The company's
founder, William C. Haisten, Jr. "Bill", started the company under its original
name William C. Haisten, Jr. Real Estate Appraiser, Inc. in 1974. The company,
which began small with only two full time employees, Bill and his wife Debbie,
conducted business out of the Uptain Building near Eastgate Mall. Over the following
three years the company's commitment to quality work, appraisal accuracy, and
customer satisfaction led to the need of additional staff and office space. The
Haisten Group, Inc. moved its operations to East Ridge, TN, where it continued to grow
for the next twenty years. During this time Bill earned the SRA and SRPA designations
from the Appraisal Institute.
As the turn of the century approached The Haisten Group, Inc. found that once
again it had outgrown its existing location and the need of a move was fast approaching.
The Haisten Group, Inc. moved to their current location, 1200 Market Street, in April of 2009. There are currently 5 appraisers and 7
staff members. The dedication to quality work, appraisal accuracy and customer
satisfaction is still the cornerstone of The Haisten Group, Inc. due to the
leadership of, the company’s founder, Bill Haisten. We currently offer services
in all aspects of Real Estate Appraisal including Conventional, FHA, VA, Relocation,
and Proposed Construction Appraisals, Interim Financial Disbursement Inspections,
